no I didn't give my close friends and invitation nothing personal but we talk on a regular basis so for me it was pointless

If she is truely you BESTfriend then heck no. If I don't talk to my best friends or not they are still my best friends and they know I'm showing up with or without an invite. If she is merely a friend that you call a bestie but really does not hold the title then maybe. My best friends are like my sister and my sister knows I'm not wasting a stamp on her lol
