So.... tonight diy mommy stuff....
Matching game with the Alphabet and Numbers 0-10.
Top: Cut index cards in half and label them A- Z
Bottom: After shuffling the pre- cut and labeled cards. I wrote 0-10 on each card, and started over to make sets of numeric cards (2 sets of 0-10) . The last 4 cards I put their nicknames (Jody, Jody & Trell, Trell) on the cards just to use them.
Directions: Lay the cards in order Alphabet side up. Have the child pick the card by reciting the chosen letter. If they aren't familiar have them repeat after you. Flip the card to reveal the number and pick another card. Repeat the same. Continue doing this until they have matched all the numbers.
They liked it. 10 mins prep. 20 min game with 2 children.
Jody is learning what his letters/numbers are and working on his memory. Pre-K ready.

☺ let me know how it goes. if you remember. and pass it on. they were excited. if we continue to play he will be able to visualize his letters and numbers with there labels better.
