As a single mother, who doesn't collect money from the government or receive child support, who works 2 nights a week & is taking 6classes 4 days a week for nursing school, I can't live off of tips like this. 4 men, ordering extremely expensive menu items, drinking beer, having a great time. The only reason I can even fathom why I received this for my tip is bc something must have happened with the man's card who originally was going to pay for everything, and this foreign man paid. He wrote 21, which actually was 11. 20% would've been at least 50 which is what I deserved after serving them for 5 hours straight. They drank 70$ worth of alcohol which means I actually made 4$ after bar tip out. Another thing that absolutely blows my mind, is that the woman that showed up at the end of the meal came to me and offered to get the guys to move to the bar since there been there so long and I needed to leave. We got to talking and she happened to be a server herself and also understood about me needing to get home to pump.

Sorry for the rant, but always remember to tip your servers! We make ZERO dollars an hour.
