Why do people have to be so negative about women who want to induce their labor? Its their baby plus…

Because unnecessary induced labor can harm mama and baby.

I'm the same way. If their doctor is okay with it, no one should have anything negative to say. There's enough judgement going around as it is when you become a mom, there's no need to add something else to judge about. Their body. Their baby. THEIR CHOICE.

That's their business though, if their already at 39 weeks I see no problem with it. That's everybody problem right there always judging on what the next woman doing. But I guess... @lilkountryma

I'm not judging. Just stating fact and why some people have a problem with it. I don't tell anyone what to do with their own body. Just try to share knowledge

I'll be 40 weeks on Monday so of course I'm trying to move things along but I'm also 3cm and 70% effaced already. I'm just trying to get my contractions closer.

I plan on trying to induce my labor because if not then my doctor is inducing me at 39 weeks and I'd rather her come on her own than getting induced. But whatever happens, happens. I don't plan on trying to induce early though. I'm thinking 38 weeks.

I'm with @haleymclain1121 I would rather my baby come on his own than be induced. I'm more afraid of induction than I am giving birth again.

@andiryan93, Exactly! I'm getting induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes and I really don't want to get induced if I can avoid it by trying to induce naturally.

I'm getting induced at 39 weeks cause my doctor asked me if I wanted to and I said yes.
