fiancé and i decided were only telling close family and friends when i go into labor or an induction date if it comes down to that ( just thinking ahead ) . were not posting on fb for the world to know so we get our phones blown up the whole time considering its going to be the happiest day of our life . and were having two hours of alone time after hes born . just me , him , and the baby where my mom is leaving . she will be back there while i have him . and nobody is posting pictures until we do because we should be able to announce the arrival of our son . my mom is taking pictures thru labor and delivery and recording our waterbirth . if thats unreasonable , idk what to tell everyone else .

were doing the exact same thing except for our water birth it'll just be me to and my boyfriend in the room and then 2 hrs with our son and them well have visitors

my mom isnt the type that would ruin that for us . so im not worried about that . and we will probably post about it during our alone time considering there will still be that one person 🙄 @augustbaby2016400

My mom keeps asking if I'm sure I don't want her there for more support but it's weird to me lol plus it's our kid not hers so I want it to be just us. Good luck with your labor and delivery when the time comes.

pretty much what I'm doing except for I'm not doing social media at all. in the hospital that is personal time for me and my SO and our families to meet our little one.

everyones birthing plan is different . i just have so many family members out of state @rkline03 . and thats how my friend was , @hannahbbtt . i just want my mom back there idk lol . and thank you ! you too !!!!

that's a really good idea! I'm happy you posted that bc I think that's what I'd like to do. I definitely don't want my phone and fbook blowing up the whole time I'm in labor and then have a million things to go through afterwards.

this is why I love this app bc I would have probably got caught up in my excitement and posted something on Facebook and then had my baby and see 120 likes and comments and that is just too overwhelming lol

I love the idea , thats how my plan is as well !! only my mom & him & the god mother will know we are not posting till we get to know our daughter. .However long it takes . I feel like if you were not there it was for a reason so hey ,
