You don't need that done. You can decline lol. Your baby will come when they are ready, no matter if they poke down there or not!

I don't mind med students, I mean they have to learn someday. I welcome them in with me. who know that med student one day may be turn out to be the best Dr. ever.!!

I'm all for residents and students learning hands on and my midwife has had 2 different ones every time I've seen her but when it comes to pokin around down there I think I'd prefer her doing that instead.

They ask though everytime if I'm comfortable with having the student come in with her. The student usually does everything and she just observes or adds things in if needed or I have questions. But if she was to do any pelvic exams I'd ask for her to do it and they can just watch.
