i asked the same question and you never know if baby is going to have a reaction to a certain kind of diaper.. if your having a shower just use the ones you get from there first. i guess i have bought 2 big packs of pampers sensative wipes though. we just save money for diapers and formula every week.

don't buy a bunch of newborn diapers. you'll end up giving them away most the time. id buy one MAYBE 2 boxes of newborns then stock up on 1s and 2s. you don't have to have a lot right now, you'll be surprised how much you get at your baby shower. just ask that people bring diapers in a variation of sizes. I didn't buy any of the diapers we have stocked up. people brought them for my baby shower and I'm set for the next 6 months at least lol

I started buying diapers when I got into my 2nd trimester and it's a good thing I did cause out of 3 baby showers we got 5 small packs of diapers and they were all huge sizes that she won't be able to wear for a while. And I'm using pampers

I'm waiting to stock pile both luvs and pampers gave my kids chemical burns and I ended up using huggies with both .. I'm using cloth and huggies this time

I use pampers because I like their wipes the best. My dude never fit in newborn size. When you do start buying diapers, the cheapest I have found is on Amazon subscribe. And they ship straight to your house

I started buying packs here and there since 15 weeks of babyganics, honest co. They're natural diapers and wipes so no fear of baby having a bad reaction.

I didn't buy any. I got a lot of diapers gifted to me and I didn't want to have tons that the baby had a reaction to. I have like one box of Huggies, some Pampers, and a sleeve of Honest. I want to use Honest because they're chemical free and deliver right to your door monthly but I've also heard great things about Pampers (no pee odor and they have a blue band that tells you when the diaper is wet.) I priced both Honest and Pampers to about the same amount so I'm just going to see what my son's skin likes more. :)
