UGH! 😡 There's some animal that has been in the walls of the house for the last two nights. In the wall that runs literally by my daughters crib. I'm assuming something big, because you can hear things falling and every step it takes. I don't want to call an exterminator, because we live cruelty free as best as we can.. I don't know what else to do though! It's so loud! I'm not about that co-sleeping life, but if she wakes up one more time, she's coming into our bed.. 😴

Out in the county, sometimes mice and raccoons will get under the house and then take shelter in the beams of the house. That's what I think is happening now.

Could be rats -- they sound much louder than you expect. I'd have an exterminator at least look in the attic to see if there is evidence. They can do a lot of damage including chew through wires.

@deeanna, I definitely plan on calling today. I found a no-kill place (minus insects.). We live by a large creek, so that's definitely a possibility. She ended up being awake from 1:00am-3:00am last night! 😣 I have to do something!
