Glucose testing next Friday 😁 mamas please tell me what to expect I'm nervous for this one!

you Drink a juice I perfer fruit punch ! not so bad and then u have to wait in the waiting room for an hour then after that hour u have to get ur blood drawn If u fail they will call u back for a 3 hour test if u pass they won't call you

Did you fast before going in for the test? My doctor didn't tell me to so I'm not sure if i should or not 😩 @malinaa215

I just did mine yesterday. I was allowed to eat before so I just had some eggs and lots of water. I didnt think the drink was that bad. I got the orange one. I was very hungry afterwards and had a major sugar crash. But overall it was not that bad! I was nervous about it too

you can have something little but u can't eat a lot nor anything SWEET .. the drink might make u nauseous .

Hmm I'm really considering not eating anything at all but I'm scared of how sick I will feel afterwards of having the drink 😁 I think I'm going to check with my doctor tomorrow just to be on the safe side @ktkayxo @malinaa215

I ate food before then I drank the juice n I was So sick I'd advise to eat after wards !(:

My dr had me come in fasted. Honestly, it was no big deal if it's a 1 hour test. All the sugar made baby do Kung fu haha. Good luck!

@tracytcoxo, my appointment wasnt until 2:30 so I had to have something! If your apt is earlier it shouldnt be too bad. Just bring snacks with you for afterwards!
