Do any of you ladies have a baby that was born with "Mongolian" spots? If so, did they ever go away? His doctor today said they are normal in Native American babies. I really don't like how they look like bruises though:/

My brother and i both still have one on our butts lol my son had some and most went away, he still has a light one on his back and my daughter has some on her back and leg. A lot of mixed babies are born with them
My baby has a light one above her but. She had a few slightly darker ones but they went away. I actually still have a small light one on my upper back and people always think it's a bruise too
Hers was gone by the middle of two months or before I'm not to sure when exactly but in between then
@mimiz, how long before it went away? @angelao777 oh okay. My son had a few on his back and a big one on his butt. I hope they go away. I don't want people thinking I abuse my baby.
They diminish over time, some go away some don't. My nephew has one on his cheek that never went away they consider it a birthmark.
