FYI: I have been reading a lot of posts of people concerned about breast pumps. So, I want to share how I got mine.
I live in CA, it may be different depending on residence. However, I believe that your insurance company is now required to pay the cost of your breast pump. I used A Breast Pump and More, google it. They asked simple information about my insurance and took care of contacting my insurance company. I ended up with a medical grade pump delivered to my door no questions asked!
It's worth looking into. Maybe it will help a few mommies out there!
To the ladies who received a breast pump from insurance. Did you need a script from your ob? Did you get the pump from your insurance company ? Or through another company using your insurance? My last pregnancy the hospital gave me one cause my daughter was in the nicu
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
How can I get a breast pump through my insurance company ??
Trying to get a breast pump through my insurance feels about impossible 😣
United health care is awful. I have a prescription for a pump, but they're seriously making me jump through hoops. My insurance will cover a non medical gender test no questions asked, but try and order a pump to feed my kid, and they act like I'm asking for $10,000!!
I'm determined to get this pump for free. If not, guess we will have no choice but to buy one 😡
I need help please. my insurance company is asking me what Breast pump I would like and I have no clue? which are recommend?
