If I went to the hospital for losing my plug and having a pinkish tint to it, will they check to see if I'm dilated or anything? Or would it be just a wasted trip?

Usually losing your mucus plug doesn't warrant a trip in unless your contracting or your water broke u can still go a few days or weeks
I lost mine and they checked me and monitored me. I was having contractions 4 to 5 minutes apart. They ended up sending me home then went back in the next day with cramping and I was in labor. They were able to stop my labor and now I'm almost 30 weeks. If I never went in I probably would of had my daughter at 24 weeks
I had the pink tint & was almost a 5 but everyone is different. I would go.
I had her early I should say, had I not gone in I would have had a baby at home.
However if it was your bloody show, refrain from bodies of water including baths, and sex. It can cause an infection
If you had a punk tinge go in and be checked. I had that with my first and ended up being in labor without knowing it. I was dilating like crazy.

What she said^ I lost my plug and went and they sent me home but it was good thing because I lost it and still didn't go into labor until a couple of weeks later lol.
Wasted.... They'd probably have you wait till your contractions start or water breaks
