Depends on a lot of things... Communication and trust are huge. And whether you both are fully committed to each other and putting in time. Long distance relationships can be tough. My boyfriend (now husband) was in Virginia and I was stationed in Spain when we were first together. I think it's worth it if y'all are both willing to put in the effort.

@breloya, well I haven't been broken up with my ex for too long so I'm in no rush. but this guy is like my best friend & I could see us going somewhere I'm the future, but he's thousands of miles away.

Take y'all's time then. It's always good to just take things slow. And I promise you, it won't necessarily be easy, but definitely worth it if he's worth it to you and again, if you both are willing to stay faithful, committed and put in the time and effort. My husband and I have been apart for more than half of our relationship, thousands of miles apart, and we're doing great. You two can do it as well. I believe long distance relationships can work. Working through the time differences are the hard parts.

@breloya, I just feel like long distance is also better since I have kids & I want to know it's gonna be something real before they meet him.

That works as well. I completely understand with that. No one just wants to bring any and every man they date around their children. I hope it all works out for you guys.
