You need one of five things: hard evidence he beats the kid, hard evidence he's doing drugs around the kid, hard evidence he's having sex with or in the same room as the kid, him to voluntarily give up his rights and never appeal it, or him to be dead 😊 judges don't like the sole custody thing. I tried for years.

& have to have a lot of proof of him not being fit to why you're tired of him or what he's done. What custody do you guys have now? In Illinois started Jan 1, 2016 they abolished joint custody

You need to get a lawyer and take him to court
