I've tried an it seems like he just ignores me. He won't ever respond. He comes home from work eats showers an goes to bed. All I want to do anymore is cry.

We literally live 3 blocks from a gas station an I wanted a Dr Pepper an I asked him to watch him while I ran an got one an he said no bc he's just gonna scream an I don't know how to fix it. Talk to him mama but do know it's VERY normal to go through this... Men don't have maternal instinct like we do so they get uncomfortable and scared (not that it's an excuse) but I'd say about 75% of new parents struggle with this... Even people together/married for years! I'm going to have #2 anyday now and I'm already preparing to be the one waking up and doing all the dirty work! Once your little one gets older it gets easier for daddy to be involved. Like I said, no excuses should be needed, parenting is a 2 way street, but it is completely normal... I'm lucky my husband will help every way possible. I couldn't imagine how it would b if he didn't. He probably feels like he's not a good enough father. He doesn't know what to do because it's not instinct for him. He has to learn how and you could try coming at it from a different angle. And just ask him if he wants to try or not.
