I'm so freaking tired, over 18 hours of labor, with no progress, then doctor added pitocin still there was a stale in labor started out as 8 unit increased all the way to 12 units. stayed at 12 for about an hour and made progress finally! I wanted to go with NO epidural but with that damn med it was was crazy to not want to. I never got the chance to get the epidural, I went from a 5 to a 10 in like an hour. I had a vaginal birth with no pain meds! but my little Aubriyella Swayzee is FINALLY here I got to meet the little human that hurt me from the inside lol. she's so tiny and petite. Gosh were all in love with her already. I'm so tired yet I'm so excited and running in adrenaline to sleep.

Our Jane Ray finally arrived last night 9/18 at 9lbs 6 ounces! I ended up having to get a c section after 16 hours of labor because I progressed to 9.5 cm, but stayed that way for over five hours! She was just too big to fit. I was terrified to get a c section, but honestly it went so good and I'm already up and walking. ? our first night was rough, but we got through. So excited to raise this perfect little baby ?

Ladies, what are you opinions on the Epidural mainly(labor meds) causing Autism in children? I was watching a movie on Hulu called Pregnant in America, and according to the research that they have, meds used in labor, more so the epidural can cause Autism and other problems in the child. I was curious myself and decided to look it up and a lot of things are saying it also. I'm not sure if I believe this to be true, because I don't believe that vaccines cause Autism. and i never heard of a c section causing it either but that wasnt mentioned in the movie so forget that whole part and only focus on the labor meds part. Opinions?

How long did you go through labor? I went through 14 hours of labor when I had Oliver. Would have been longer if the doctors hadn’t given me meds to speed up the labor. I was given an epidural, my blood pressure went down to 80 and they had to give three epidural shots to get me stable again and they had to stop it for 20 minutes because the doctor was out at lunch. 🙄 so by the time I gave birth I felt everything
