ladies i for the past 4 days have had a itch you know where. and i feel so raw down there, it hurts…

Could be a yeast infection. Some antibiotics are known to get rid of the good bacteria also making it very easy to get one. My doctor told me that corn starch should help with itching.

@babymaverick, im jist wondering if i should go in to get checked because it has became unbearable and so uncomfortable.

If it's unbearable then I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. Better safe than sorry

go buy monistat for yeast infections it's from the antibiotics they sell it at Walgreens or cvs

r u taking antibiotics for BV? usually they give u a yeast infection so just tell ur dr & they should give u either 1 pill or a 7 day supply .

bacterial vaginosis. the dr may have just called it a bacterial infection lol . happens when your ph is off.

ive been taking ampicillin @naradasmommie @babymaverick for about a week, ive been wondering if it has caused this

it probably did. its probably just a yeast infection. i think the pills the dr gives u for yeast infection are better than otc but thats just me i could take 1 pill and it clears it right up. & also if u do decide to get monistat get the 7 day one . i tried the 1 day one 😽😽😽😽 made it 10 times worse . i mean my vagina lips were closed shut lol. it was a bad yeasty boy.

I think antibiotics can cause yeast infections. Especially pregnant women 😔 cuz your immune system is weaker

the recommend like 1% for pregnant woman bc its not as strong.

omg me to look mine itchessss so bad !!! its raw and it'd starting to really hurt I have been trying to let it heal on its own but IRS not getting any better

It's a yeast infection (probably caused by the antibiotics). I get one every time I take an antibiotic. It's a common side effect! Just call your OB. It's a minor thing.

A few weeks bad I was given antibiotics for BV and the same thing happened to me. I went back to the doctor and it turned out it was just dryness. And my itching made it worse. I was so swollen and raw though. She didn't give me anything for it and in about a week or two everything went back to normal. My PH balance was off because of the antibiotics and it just needed time to even itself out.

@babyboy528, u can ask ur dr she can prescribe u some pills or u can use monistat. if u get monistat get the 7 day one the 1 day is too harsh for us being pregnant and it wil make it worse.
