The more kids you have had increase your chances, If your older like over 40 that increases your chances. If you have twins in your family, that increases your chances. Btw Identical twins are NOT hereditary just fyi, I see people say that all the time, but they're not. Fraternal twins are. You have to release two eggs at a time in order to get pregnant with twins.
I've always thought it would be so awesome to have twins, but I doubt it would ever actually happen for me. Plus I already have three kids, I'd have to get a van haha...and gosh, can you imagine dealing with two crying babies at 3 am and trying to breastfeed them both at he same time, I'd die lol.
it doesn't exactly have to be a family history, it depends on the woman too, she's the one who chooses and if the eggs drop the right way, I have no history and ended up with twins, so girl go get your sex on lol
