What types of pain medication are there, and what are you willing to take? Do you want delaid cord clamping or not? Basically anything that has to do with your labor plan if you have one. I told my doctor I wanted my baby to come out and go straight to my chest. Some people don't want that would rather have the baby wiped down then handed to them. My husband asked my doctor if she could show him how to time contractions and when would he know its time to bring me in.

Go online and type in Labor Plan Template. It will have a check list. It will say things like if you want music playing in your room, do you want IV drugs, epidural, would you like a mirror to see your baby coming out. Things along that line. You can either print it out or write it out. You give it to the nurse when you arrive to L&D. Me personally I didn't write one out I just told my nurse what I wanted and she wrote it down.@klove23,
