Why does everyone say babies are so expensive? Wipes diapers shower stuff all of it is NOT expensive. And our baby will have insurance so I don't understand what is so expensive?! I'm going to breast feed and even if I wasn't we could afford our baby no problem. And I'm not talking about baby gear because that's different for everyone. Some people want high end and some get hand me downs or buy their stuff second hand.

The only thing that's expensive to me is daycare and we pay $220 a week.

I never really understood that either. I think some ppl try and use that as a scare tactic to prevent ppl from having kids but hell it seems like I manage money better having kids because when I didn't was very reckless with my spending lol!

Cloth diapers make it even better too. That's what we're doing now since we'll have 2 in diapers this fall.

My husband was completely against it at first. It's actually pretty easy upkeep. I throw dirty ones in a basket (rinse the poop out) and start a small load usually 10 diapers after bathtime. Then by bedtime for the 10&5 year old I just toss them in the dryer. We still use huggies for over night since I'm paranoid she'll pee in my bed. Lol

the older your child get the more money you spend like my son and daughter one play football the other do gymnastics and cheer. so it get expensive
