I think thats a part of the labor process. Baby drops further down in to the birth canal. Then everything else happens. My belly is already super low so idk how I can drop anymore that shit would be at my knees.

it depends on your size. If you are already small, you may not notice baby positioning lower

My aunt never dropped before she had my little cousin so I guess it's different for everyone

@showersoverflowers, that's why like I get tons of pressure and cramping etc below but I'm 4'10 in height and idk if I've dropped or not idk how that goes. Or do you mean size in in a different way? Lol

@towens921, oh man! I can't tell if I've dropped or not all I know is that I get so much pressure and cramps below I don't know if that's an indicator but I've been having so much pressure for like a week or 2 now really low.

That's definitely a sign that baby is hanging out pretty low. I'm 5 foot nothing and it's pretty similar I can tell he's low because of the pressure down low and less pressure on my ribs. The further you get the less room you have being little so unlike taller moms, you may not experience much relief from rib pain and heart burn :(
