No, I was not allowed too. Only jello, Popsicles or ice. Most hospitals are like this once you are in active labor.

I thought I would care but I had a complete loss of appetite. At home when I went into labor I drank oj thinking it'd give me calories/energy, I threw it up during contractions. When I got to the hospital my SO had to force me to drink water lol

I was told yea just nothing to heavy something like a sandwich or something I think they try to reduce u pooping while pushing but I didn't have the desire to eat at all until after he came out

Depends where you are, my birth ctr you could but not at the hospital I ended up going to.

i couldn't eat anything after 8 of the morning i had my son. they weren't sure if i was having my c-section yet or not. i was also never in labor. then i couldn't eat (i could have ice chips) until the next morning. and then it was a liquid only diet.

Girl not at mine I couldn't. And I had such bad back labor the morning I got admitted I skipped breakfast and lunch ... And didn't deliver til the following day 😿 I was starving... EAAAAATTTTTT
