Ok so my 9 month old son HATES the car at night. He usually does fine any other time, but if it's dark he loses his shit. I need help!!! Turning the light on in the car doesn't help, music doesn't help, videos of his favorite show don't help, toys don't help. Literally nothing will calm him down until I take him out! He NEVER gets tired and gives up and drifts off to sleep!! He works himself up to the point he will be sweating and chokes on his spit. It's literally the most stressful and upsetting thing in the world and I don't know what to do besides never go anywhere when it's dark. 😔

Have you tried a glow worm? They light up and play very soothing music. It's what helped my daughter whenever she cried in the car. To this day I still use it and she's almost 1 yr old.

@andiryan93, I haven't tried a glow worm but we do have a car mirror with a light and music that doesn't phase him. Lol a glow worm might be a good idea though!

maybe you could try putting them in the car when he's already sleeping.? might not be practical but it's just a thought.

I always put my daughters glow worm by her head because that's where she liked it. Or in her lap.

@reyesmomma, It would definitely help if he slept every time we needed to be out. Lol @andiryan93 I will have to try something like that, I feel like we've tried everything else.
