Breast milk is like water my baby goes threw It like nothing, he eats every hour but when I give him formula he's good for about 4 hours. I don't wanna over feed my baby with breast milk but he does not get full, Any suggestions ?????

Mine was like this too but my breastfeeding consultant explained that the fatty stuff is at the end of the nursing session. She had me pump a bit from each side and then nurse. Also she had me keep him stimulated during each session so he would stay on longer and that really seemed to help
i feel ur pain, i pump and breastfeed, that way your still producing plenty of milk and hes still strictly drinking breastmilk. try to alternate...and plus i feel like when he has the bottle he gets alot more milk at once so hes content longer. but when theyre newborns unforrunately its very common for them to eat every 1-2 hours, my baby will go 3 hours usually
also, emptying one side and pumping the other each feeding seemed to help too.
