Omg today is gonna be a horrible day. My step daughter fell asleep at 8 last night and seriously woke up crying a million times last night. My husband just eventually brought her to our bed cuz he was tired of getting up and down. Well, I never can sleep when there's 3 of us in a bed. My back is absolutely killing me. Her mom let her sleep in bed with her until pretty much she turned 3. She's almost 4 and we always have such a difficult time with her sleeping all night long. I'm so exhausted. 😡

yep that's the best way to keep them in bed make sure she ate went peepee got a drink and let her cry it out that how professionals do it and if you want look up nanny 911 on YouTube the nanny even shows how to exactly do it

For infants I don't agree with the cry it out method but for an older child like that I agree with the above posters. She seems to know if she cries enough she will get her way, so I agree that maybe letting her cry it out in her own bed could nix the habit of needing to sleep in yours

I try to tell him to let her cry. I too watch the Supernanny show. I've tried to get my husband to incorporate things to see how it goes but he does not like to hear her cry and especially since we live in an apartment complex. He's worried someone will call cps because of her screaming. But like I told him, even if they did there would clearly be nothing wrong other than her fighting to sleep on her own. It's not like she's abused or anything. But he also gets worried and doesn't want it to get back to the mother that she cries like that. The baby's mom is crazy she makes a huge deal out of nothing. But I tell him all the time you have to be a parent, not her friend. She has to know you're serious. Idk she listens to me more than him for some reason
