@patti28, no one showed up... I spent all this money and time planning alone because two of my friends said they were going to help me and didn't. I had to pay for people who didn't even show up... In the end I got three gift bags and 10 gift cards for $10 and $20 I'm so hurt that no one took the time out for me

Yep! Girl, I know exactly how you feel. I was crying yesterday because only a few people RSVP'd and everyone who assured me they'd be there straight up aren't coming now. My mom and I have RSVP'd to everyone else's and made sure to show up and I can't get that back? Ugh. I hate you're going through this because I know how devastating it can be.
@desireeanne, I woke up crying... All for $300 worth of nothing... I spent $1625 yesterday. People didn't even stay til the end... I paid $400 for my cake by the time it was cut everyone was gone. I getting the last few people out of my life and then I will be completely alone.
I know it's easier said than done, but now it's time to just focus on you and your beautiful family. I've learned a long time ago (at a young age even) that you can't rely on anyone even people you think are the closest to you. I've already written off so many people for valid reasons but my heart still aches over it.

Had the same outcome when I had my babyshower. I had so much leftover food and drinks. I was really hurt. I shouldve just spent the money I spent on the shower myself going out buhing the stuff for the baby myself. So after that day I was like Fuck everybody. Dont call me later on asking if I had the baby already so you can come meet her cause my answer is NO!!!
