They are suppose to triple their weight in one year so as long as they have gained what they weighted at birth by 6 months they are good. Example 7lbs at birth 14 by 6 months 21 by a year.
@brudd330, so basically 16lbs? That sounds totally fine! 😊 my girl just grows fast. She was 6 lbs at birth and right now she's 9 months old and 22-23lbs. But she's in the 80th percentile. So 16lbs at 6 months is really good!

My son is almost 7 months and he weighs about 20-21 lbs.

At 7 months my daughter was 21 lbs so I think 20lbs at 6 months
