You can get the epidural and after so long it starts to wear off there's a button u can press to give yourself another dose of medicine which will num you again but if you choose not to u don't have to its up to u

Yes it is because when I had my twins after a few hours it started to wear off but I kept giving myself another dose but when it wears off for u just don't give yourself anymore meds @lucyyxoxo_

how does your back feel now? I know back pain can be a major side effect @twins1987 I guess it all depends on how that day goes for me. but if I can have just a few hours of relief and still be able to push naturally in the end I might take that option

Yes my back is fine no back pain or anything is this your first child I've done this 5 times and no issues @lucyyxoxo_

Yes I feel u I was really tired and sleepy myself after delivery but u can always ask the anesthesiologist questions before getting the epidural either way I hope everything goes well @lucyyxoxo_
