Ok not sure if we have any nurses on here or anything but we have 2 people in our house that have hep c and God only knows what else so I need to know what you can get it from because I'm freaking out and am gonna drive myself crazy thinking about it the more they leave dirty towels and leave their soap and stuff just laying around

Can you get it from touching a towel that an infected person used or say touched their soap they used? It just worries me cuz I will freak out on someone if I get something cuz they wana be careless @starliightt

Sharing things such as razor blades, nail scissors, toothbrushes and hair clippers, also poses a risk. If their blood gets onto any of these implements, there is a small chance that someone using them may become infected, but only if they injure themselves and break their own skin (e.g. a cut). The same could also be applied to the sharing of towels - it’s possible their blood could get onto a towel and be used later by someone with an open wound.
