mine only was coed because it was also a family reunion (I was 5 states away visiting family I hadn't seen in 6 years , and that my 5 year old has never had a chance to meet)

I understand and nothing is wrong with that. For me tho the majority of my REAL friends are guys and I come from a family that's predominantly male on both sides. But I will say if you want a traditional shower go for it. I just prefer more fun and interactive, which for me means co-Ed.
