@nere_javi_nikki_050712, not a dumb question at all! It's when your mucus plug comes out and is tinged with blood. Basically it means labor is near, I'm just not sure how near lol. It's when the plug that keeps anything from getting to the baby comes out to make way for baby's passage through the birth canal

@nere_javi_nikki_050712, basically losing your mucus plug, it's usually the first sign labor is around the corner but not all ladies have one before labor. I didn't have mine and my water never broke either but I went into labor and they broke my water and all for me

I had my bloody show Friday in the afternoon and the contractions started that same night and I was in the hospital the following day, hopefully it's labor. 👍🏻
