At what point did your newborn start eating more? I've been feeding my LO 1 ounce of breast milk or formula from a bottle every 2-3 hours and she's been doing great but tonight she ate 1 ounce at 6:45, was acting hungry by 7:45 so I gave her another ounce and then she was acting hungry again at 8:45 so I gave her another ounce.... At that point I could tell she was satisfied and she slept for a few hours. I know that every day, their stomachs get a little bigger... I was just curious as to when your newborn started eating more. She will be 4 days old tomorrow.

feed and feed until they're satisfied, to begin with my babies would eat 2 ounces and quickly moved onto 4 before they were a month old.

Okay! I figured as long as she's satisfied and not spitting it up, that it was okay to keep feeding her but just wanted to make sure she wasn't doing too much. @tatiananoelani

of course, just add an ounce at a time until she's no longer fussy, don't be afraid to feed her, they need all the nutrients they can get to help them grow :)

I started at 2-3 oz when my daughter came home. She's 6 weeks old today n eats 4 oz every 3 1/2 4 hours and during the night sometimes as old as 6 hours

My baby is 12 days old when we went to the doctor yesterday. She said 24 ounces in 24 hours so a ounce every hour. Hope this helps
