my daughter hates wearing those little mittens so I usually cut her nails every week. but today she scratched her self at Walmart and started to cry I tried everything to calm her down. it was so exhausting she has never cried in public. and just when she calmed down she rubbed her scratch and proceeded to cry again. I've never felt so helpless I just wanted to fix it and I couldn't. 😢

I thought about it a couple of times but she has never scratched herself before so I never actually tried it. I guess I just need to keep an eye on her nails or use socks lol @valerie_jean

Socks! Those mittens don't stay on for shit so I used socks. Works like a charm!

Even when my son's nails were cut and filed he always some how managed to cut himself, it was the worst!😩 So I always had socks on his hands😂
