pacifier: before they are too attached to it. the more attached to it they are, the harder it will be to ween them from it.

training sippy cup: around 6 months or so if they seem ready.

pacifier I suggest around a year old after that it tends to be a lot harder believe me I know my almost 2 year old still has her pacifier and won't go without it during the day it's getting ridiculous so sooner the better

I almost had her off it about 3 months ago but then she started going to her mom's more and her mom gives it to her all the time so it's like starting all over again :p but yes I am trying lol @chill
