I honestly don't recommended it...I became really attached to my son and being away from him even at 6 weeks has put me in a bad depression....and I have separation anxiety now too
There's no set time! Go back when you want to(: I get bored super easily and need social interaction so I'll probably start like 1 day a week after about a month or so!
@sharonpaige13, @emaleejoy I'm really getting so stressed not working I been working my whole life since I was 10 n ever since I got pregnant I had to stop bcz I was in high risk
Well once you have your baby, it does change because it's a lot of work and very tiring the first few weeks but it's definitely okay to want to work... That's how I am! Don't stress, just take it what step at a time and do what you want (:
Of course (: I hate that there's this stigma that women NEED to take a maternity leave. It's not necessary. It's awesome for mother, baby bonding time but it's also important to take care of yourself. I didn't take care of myself and got horrible depression that I'm still coming out of and that's worse than anything!
When I go on my leave my manager told me to just text or call her to let her know when I'm ready to come back and then it will only be a few hours a day for 3 or 4 days a week till I feel I can do more. my job is really laid back tho so it's all up to me
I've been on modified bed rest since 6/13 and am due in 5 weeks and still plan to take 12 weeks PP. The first 3-4 months of a baby's life is so important for bonding and feeding and I want to give myself time to heal. I could not see myself wanting to rush back to work. If I could, I'd stay home longer. Work has been super accommodating and has been letting me work from home 20 hrs per week right now and I do regular weekly lunch dates with some coworkers to stay connected. Each momma has got to do what's right for them emotionally and financially though!
