thats wierd because i was given the 8 weeks. i think you need to talk to the doctor and tell him/her to give you 8 because thats a california law. and PFL is and extra 6 weeks.

I was given the 8 weeks. And after that's up (on the 26th) I am going to apply for PFL and that's another 6 weeks

When you submitted that you had your baby to EDD did you put that you had a c-section?

i didn't have my baby yet when I submitted it... but my doctor is the one who scheduled my C-section so she knew @jasminebowman

@meli2890, once you have your baby there is another form you have to fill out that states the type of birth that's probably the problem. I filled it out online.

After you have the baby you go online and fill out another form letting them know you had the baby and how you delivered. It should give you the 8 weeks after
