39wks is full term

it use to be 37 but I think they changed it and don't even consider you full term until you hit 40 weeks

39 weeks and your considered full term. Only reason I know is because my OB told me when I asked to be induced. She wouldn't even consider the option until I hit full term at 39 weeks.

No. not unless they physically have to be. If your baby comes out healthy, and good weight. You get to go home, when. they let you go.
