does anyone think it's crazy for me to try to drive home for my baby shower around the time I'm 30 weeks? it's a 16 hour drive and I'd have to go alone...I want to do it but at the same time I feel like it's not a good idea

I drove 19 hours from Texas to Cali when I was 29 weeks.. It wasn't too bad

that makes me feel better!! If I don't go home I won't have a baby shower at all and with it being my first baby I really don't want to miss out on that @mommywhit2

I went back home to have my baby shower also! 😊 I just made sure I stopped frequently and stretched my legs so they wouldn't swell

I drove 12hrs at 32 weeks for my baby shower and then 12hrs back at 33 weeks. Everyone told me I was crazy but I was just fine 😂

It's going to be uncomfortable for sure. Make sure to stop I think my dr said every 2-3 hours for bathroom breaks and leg stretching or it could cause blood clots in your legs. we drove 8-9 hours home when I was 30 something weeks pregnant with 2 kids. It took over 12 hours. 😭

Oh noo! I'd definitely stop a lot. I'm going to try to do it at 26 weeks instead so maybe that will be a little better @jenn61115

as long as u stop. I would get a motel half way.
