but I'm thinking of it as what love is supposed to be. I can't explain it but ik that loving someone period there should be no one else in the equation
i dont think you can love two people . when you truly love someone , there isnt anyone else . you only have love and eyes for that person . just my opinion tho .
poly relationships are extremely possible and full of true love. the problem is, how rare it is that is truly a poly love, and no jealousy, no drama, no cheating, etc. I know very few people who are truly poly capable but it's harder for them because they can't find someone to be just as equal. so it's always unequally returned love.
but despite that, I do believe only true love for one person, the rest are loves of other forms. family, children, friendships, etc.

no I mean you can have feelings for multiple but to really have a love it only belongs to one person

This is a really tough one. I think you can but in different ways. You can be in love with someone but only just love the other imo
