@adrien5.29, @smb_mommy thanks. Also, she owns a funeral home so there may be the off chance that she'll have to do a funeral service in the middle of the week. Do you know if places will take a child for just a day?

normally they dont just do a day...maybe you could find a family member or post it on fb when u need someone else

When I babysat for non relatives I got paid $30 a day.

For the my neighbors baby I charged $75 for the week and if she missed a day i took off $15

I would check prices in your area... then figure out a happy medium.
