Question: I'm having contractions, not close together but with every one I'm having clear boogers come out. It shouldn't be my mucus plug, right? Since I'm 100% effaced. Or could it be. Emailed my doctor also, but it's late so I'm sure I won't get an answer until tomorrow.
Update: L&D has no nurses right now, I guess from shift change. Ugh.

Could be your water leaking too. I would go to L&D to get checked just in case

I hate the disclaimer but I understand what you mean. It's like, Shit! God forbid you ask a question because someone has to go make a whole new status towards a question making the woman (normally a FTM) look stupid. Breaks my heart that a FTM can't ask a question without being made out to look stupid for asking.

I've had super crystal clear discharge. It's nothing like a mucus plug tho. It's slimy.. like the clear boogers i blow out my nose when im sick.. no color to it at all.. is that what yours is like?

You can still have your mucus plug. I was 100% effaced for a week or so and still hadn't lost it until I actually went into labor and they checked me.

@floress_j, I guess I thought being effaced meant I lost my plug without noticing it. But from what the nurse said I probably haven't lost it all the way. I'm hoping I lose it all, like the "bloody show" everyone talks about. Haha. And you missy need to have a talk with your baby, he's too comfortable!

The NP said that if on Wednesday (a day after my due date) i still haven't progressed that they will schedule an induction at 41 weeks. But if NST's are good and he isn't under any type of distress i might deny an induction.. atleast for another week. I really want my body to go into labor on its own.. i don't want to go through a horrid experience with induction.. let alone it end in a Csection. I really want it all natural! I think if im dialated to atleast a 2 on Wednesday they will go ahead and strip my membranes in hopes that i will go into labor on my own before we get to 41weeks.
