Anyone had bleached highlights whilst prego? Seems to be at hairdressers discretion as there's no hard evidence of it being harmful?

it can it sometimes happens majority of the time it is ok x patch test highly recommended

I had highlights done about 4 times in my pregnancy all fine xc

well I used to work as a hairdresser the fact of it is it has no harm to baby but the colour pigments in your hair can change due to the hormones released in pregnancy so you may not get the colour you are expecting xx

I was told not to bleach but dye is ok. I maid admit I haven't read evidence of this. I've dyed my hair in pregnancy but never bleached.

You will be fine. I'm also a hairdresser and have highlighted my hair also darkened it during pregnancy. Always get a patch test, but go get your hair done! And enjoy!
