i agree with you my old job i worked at (nursing home) my manager got mad that i called off because i had no one to watch my son and my car broke down and she expected me to still make it to work and then she ended up firing me because of it because she told me im always calling off well yeah i have to if i have no one to watch my kids or my car isnt working!! and she told me "my daughter has 3 kids and doesnt call off she makes it to work everyday" and i tell her wtf what does your daughter and her kids have to do with me and mine? dont be comparing people to me thats fucked up your daughter is MARRIED im not and im a single mom(at that time) do dont tell me whats best for my family. i was so mad at her and then after i left she ended up telling all co workers to make sure you have a permanment baby sitter if u have kids 😒😒

That's just dumb. Family comes first in this case your son & then everything else.

I would do anything to go into work, usually I'd have a sitter but in this case my husbands parents are on vacation and ones in Canada and they other just started her clinical. so my hands are tied at this point. if I get fired I'll complain to someone higher up because its not fair. exactly we would do anything to come into work but no babysitter means we wont be able to make it! managers who dont have kids dont understand!! and thats what i did i reported her to the human resources and she got suspended only i wanted her fired ! my manager would tell me to get my shit together, i need to take care of my child support case between me and my babys father, etc. like wtf ?! what does my personnel business have to do with working? 😒 i hated my manager she would always say something about me and since im pregnant again she tells my cousin why im having another kid if i have a child support case & i shoukdnt be having kids bla bla bla shes all drama she acts like shes 15 😳 but yeah its dumb unless were not calling off hungover ! @nichole_lynn

Even if you don't get fired I would definitely talk to someone higher to let them know what's going on & how unfair it is!
