My heart broke for my son today. We went to visit his sick dying aunt in the nursing home. Her memory isn't good anymore and she kept getting confused thinking My son was his father. His father hasn't seen him in almost 2 years....When we got home I made a comment on how his father should go see her because he was her favorite and it would brighten her day. My son said to me "Mom, he gave me life, I'm his own flesh and blood and he can't even be bothered to pick up the phone." I was shocked! It broke my heart for him. The saddest part is it doesn't even phase him anymore...
