times like this I wish my best friend and I lived closer together. she's just got out of a relationship with someone she saw herself being with for the rest of her life and is devastated. all I want to do is hug her and tell her it will be OK in person but with her being in Florida and me being in Maryland a long talk and trying to reassure everything will be ok with her over the phone is the best I can do.

It's ok to say that pregnancy sucks. Because for some, it does. Not everyone has a pregnancy with no symptoms or complications to complain about. If you admit it sucks, it doesn't mean you're not greatful or don't love your baby. It just means you're being honest. The same with motherhood. That sucks sometimes too. That doesn't mean you don't love your kids and don't do your best to give them the world. I know it's old but it popped up in a snapchat story about how people (Especially other moms) bashed Kim Kardashian for being honest about her pregnancy. I appreciate her honesty and not sugar coating everything to seem perfect.
