I think im going to call the hospital to check and make sure

that's what happened to me the night before I delivered. I went in to the er. and they checked me and said I was in active labor I would go to the doctor to just check.

i heard they dont move as much when yoi are close to labor

There really is no way for us to tell, if you are worried you should probably call your doctor, a mother knows best. If you're child usually is moving around and now all of a sudden they aren't moving at all, that would worry me as well.
