My baby girl got a little bit of lanolin in her mouth. (I am bad mother for this.) I thought it was safe to put some on prior to breastfeeding and I guess I read the label wrong. Please tell me it's not toxic. (Although, this is my second child - this is the first one I am breastfeeding.) 😖😔😳

its not toxic!!!! they just don't want baby to get a lot in there mouth or to get an allergic reaction!!! My doc said it can also affect the latch because it makes it too slippery! If my nipples were super sore I would put just a tiny bit of 100% pure coconut oil on them before feeding to help the pain and it comforted me knowing there were no chemicals in it!

it's meant to go on your nipples, I don't know how it could be toxic and it be meant for the baby's food source.. @mrspavlides
