I'm starting to research montessori toddler education. I started looking into this whole thing yesterday, so if anyone has any tips or favorite websites or groups I should look into, I'd be very grateful! TIA
I'm planning on doing this at our home. I stay home with him all day, so I want to make sure he's prepared for school in a few years.
I personally liked Primrose School better. Its just really more of what type of rules you like because for me in Montessori a kid could walk around and not have to do circle time with others. In primrose its more structured in my opinion. I think I see it more from a teachers point of view I worked at both Kids R kids and primrose and I've had other parents tell me about Montessori. I loved Primrose so much! I was a teacher assistant for kindergartners they were testing in to a second grade level and some into a first grade level.
My son goes to a Montessori School in Rice Village area! Best decision ever. He is very advanced for his age, started speaking at 1 and legibly speaking in sentences around 1.5! I love Montessori!
