Do I HAVE to sign the papers for another section? Can I just refuse & Have a VBAC2? It's been 5 years already but my OB doesn't want me to do the vaginal but doesn't have a set reason on why. She just says it's because I already had 2 c sections... ??
VBACs are becoming more and more common. I would seriously invest in a Doula who can help you study your options! If it is what you feel is right for you and that you can do it, then you can!
You're suppose to get c sections after your first one. It's very dangerous to go vaginal. Many women are also recommend to not have that many children after having a c section bc of those risk.
After 2 c sections having a vbac is a very rare and dangerous thing. The wound has already been opened twice and you risk tearing it open when trying to push. While the doctor should give you more than just the uterine rupture, it is a very valid reason. Especially if there was a reason for the first 2. Maybe your pelvis is too small, or you didn't dilate and it caused stress on the baby. You are entitled to your rights, but with a 3rd C section it would be rare to do a vbac. Many women are advised to not even have a child following a 3rd C section due to risks.
That's what I'm thinking because all she said was there's a risk for uterine rupture (as there is with any VBAC) & she really didn't tel my why I can't have a vaginal birth or why the baby or I Would Be Jeoperdized... @arivera64 @olson0305 @anumaat @jennatess
I had a c section with the first for a bs reason. Vbac with the second with no problems.
