TMI alert!
Just been for my first poo since giving birth and having an episiotomy on Sunday! Oh my god!!
Anyone got any tips other than plenty of fluids & fibre to get things moving because that was slightly painful!

I would mention it to your midwife she might be able to advise what's best. I was worried about going to the loo after mine but I was fortunate as I didn't have any pain. Xx

@mrsmowmow, @winterbaby95 @stacey804 my community midwife did say to me today if I was struggling to get some but only as a last resort. @holliesinead thanks I hadn't even thought of coffee!! I'll be all over that tomorrow xx

it took me 7 days, and I had to ring 111 cause I was so uncomfortable! they prescribed me a suppository to make what's there softer to pass, I used one a day for the next 6 days to get some cleared out but 5 weeks on and I am still not pooing naturally, have been taking Senakot which is a blessing! if I skip a day I get so constipated! hope it doesn't last forever.
